The College is seeking applicants for anticipated openings for part-time adjunct faculty in the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance.
Position Description
The department typically hires adjunct faculty to teach class for the subject areas/courses listed below, but this list is not comprehensive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department.
The following courses may need coverage:
- Financial Accounting
- Managerial Accounting
- Cost Accounting
- Accounting Professional Seminar
- Non-Profit Accounting
- Macro Economics
- Micro Economics
- Statistics
- Principles of Finance
- Finance courses
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field from an accredited US Department of Education or an internationally recognized institution.
- Previous work experience or college teaching experience in related business fields.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CFA, CMA, CFE or a relevant designation.
- Doctorate in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited institution by the US Department of Education or an internationally recognized institution.
- Demonstrated effective teaching at the college level.

Salary and Benefits
$2,750 per 3 credit hour course (this amount may vary and if it does it requires the Dean's office and the Provost's office approval.) Health insurance is available to part-time faculty who teach six or more credits, contact hours, or credit equivalents per semester.
