(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Department Information
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports the recruitment efforts for the ISS graduate programs including addressing all inquiries, providing appropriate and up-to-date information and/or materials, and working with prospective students to complete application files
- Participates in local, regional, and national recruitment events such as recruitment fairs and executes information sessions for ISS graduate programs
- Reviews and assesses application materials to ascertain qualifications necessary for progression in the admissions process are met, continuously reviews the approved electronic system, and manages communications plans for in process admission applications.
- Creates, coordinates, and sends acceptance and/or rejection letters and communicates the final admissions decisions to Graduate Admissions
- Organizes, manages, and executes the logistics pertaining to orientation and new student onboarding
- Coordinates with the Bursar's office to ensure charges are accurate and students meet tuition payment deadlines
- Works with the Registrar's Office to ensure students are registered for classes
- Processes the paperwork for graduate research and teaching assistants
- Maintains accurate and comprehensive student records, including student and graduate placement, degree progress, and demographics
- Assists with budget projections for each fiscal year and evaluates progress towards financial goals
- Maintains and updates program website, social media, and other platforms
- Responsible for the development of assigned alumni projects throughout the fiscal year
- Manages and designs program events including, but not limited to choosing and contracting event space and details, budget/procurement of event, supervising flow of event and follow-up
- Assists with procurement of instructional materials for the students in cohort based programs
- Coordinates with events team to plan and execute graduation reception and associated activities, address issues as they arise
- Serves and provides guidance, counseling, and advisement to students in the ISS graduate programs regarding curriculum requirements, processes, and policies
- Monitors program activities, identifies challenges and opportunities and reports the information to the program leadership team, as requested
- Collaborates with the KSU Strategic Communication Team for efficient program marketing and advertising campaigns
Job Summary
Plans and implements program initiatives for the assigned college, academic department, and/or academic unit. Participates in the generation of program resources, communication, design and development of operating goals, objectives, and protocols. Serves as primary point for program implementation and operational matters. Provides technical, professional and programmatic guidance, consultation, and support.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops, plans and coordinates the implementation and execution of programs, special projects, events and other initiatives designed to achieve the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the assigned program(s) and/or department(s)
2. Oversees and administers all facets and activities related to day-to-day operations of the assigned program(s) and/or departments
3. Serves as liaison with internal and external clients on all matters relating to program and/or department activities
4. Provides, administers and/or coordinates the provision of technical guidance, consultation, related support to clientele within area of program focus
5. Assists with forecast projections and budget for each fiscal year and evaluates progress towards financial goals and may be responsible for the program or department's purchasing card (PCard)
6. Prepares and delivers presentations and collateral for program and/or department and events
7. Coordinates and administers the collection, compilation, and analysis of program activity data, prepares comprehensive program reports and evaluation summaries
8. May coordinate, administer and monitor social media presence and program outreach
9. May supervise and/or lead assigned staff and/or students assistants
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field
Required Experience
One (1) year of work experience related to the position

An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Previous experience with program development and coordination
Previous experience in higher education
Proposed Salary
The budgeted salary range is $45,900 to $56,100 annually. Offers are based on relevant experience.
